MARDI
HIMAL & MACHHAPUCHRE TREK
The
most triangular shaped ridge and its summit that form the
westerly lower slope of mount Machhapuchre 6997m. The Mountain
possesses two peaks thus it named as this which in English
means 'Fish Tail'. Its great skyline is seen even from Phewa
Lake at Pokhara. It is situated to the most southerly high
point of Mt. Annapurna massif, around these appears majestic
grouping of mountains is the central Himalayan that includes
5 of the 12 highest mountains in the world, all these awaits
to this route.
Descending
first through the forest a different route takes us steeply
down to the upper Mardi Khola, the torrent that has been the
ice and the snow of Mardi Himal although remote and still
away from the used trekking routes, the expedition now takes
on the moods of the warm Valleys and the friendly Villages,
as we make our way along the banks of Mardi Khola from the
hill side Village of siding, down through the lovely fields,
past the simple farms over the bridges.
Trek Itinerary:
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02 City sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03 Kathmandu - Pokhara buy Bus or flight then transfers
to Hotel.
Day 04 Pokhara - Dhampus (village Camp.) 1620m.
Day 05 Dhampus - Forest Camp. 2550m.
Day 06 Forest Camp - Low Camp. 3400m.
Day 07 Low Camp - High Camp. 4100m.
Day 08 High Camp - Above high Camp. 500m.
Day 09 High Camp - Siding Village. 1750m.
Day 10 Siding Village - Mardi Pul. 1600m.
Day 11 Mardi Pul - Pokhara Camp at Lake Side
Day 12 Pokhara sight seeing or free.
Day 13 Pokhara - Kathmandu by Bus Or flight & transfers
to Hotel.
Day 14 Kathmandu shopping.
Day 15 Transfer to airport for your onward journey.
