Rolwaling Trek

Mt. RolwalingThe furrow left by the plough is the meaning of Rolwaling a steep walled valley in habitude by friendly Sherpas. This mysterious valley lies to south of the Tibetan frontier along the east bank of Bhote Koshi. Above the inhabited area, the valley divides into several largely unexplored glaciated valleys dominated by formidable 6,000-m peaks.

This trek concludes its visit to Rolwaling by crossing the Tesi Lapcha Pass (5,755 m) into Khumbu; starting from Barabise of Dolkha through rhododendron forests enjoying the superb views of Gauri Shanker. Certainly one of the most remote and beautiful areas of Nepal.
